Day 108-
Today, I went out for bit with my mom and despite going to a couple
stores shopping for the afternoon I didn’t take my crutches though I did use
the shopping cart (not to be confused with those motorized carts) while in the
store. Surprisingly, I did pretty darned
good. I moved slowly at first but ended
up doing pretty good and was able to start out and about for several
hours. I didn’t want to push it too much
since I know tomorrow I will be going out in heels for the first time since the
surgery. However, I felt pretty
confidante walking around that I should be able to do this unaided walking more
and more. Finally, it feels like things
are looking up.
